A shepherd hut with a view!
Situated in a great position to just sit and watch the world go by with beautiful views encompassing mountains, highland cattle, llamas and much more.
The hut comes with a raised double bed with a further 2 single beds (sleeping bags recommended for single beds) that double as seating. The hut has electric lighting plus a power socket.
To keep you snug and warm there is a small wood burning stove along with stove top kettle, complimentary tea and coffee, cups and glasses.
Guests are welcome to use The Bothy for further crockery, cooking stoves, fridge-freezer and microwave.
Outside the hut there is a picnic bench and fire pit. We provide duvet and pillows, you are welcome to bring your own linen, however linen and towels are available to hire.
Friendly owners, beautiful location and we loved the animals! Great showers / toilets and having use of the very well equipped Bothy for cooking and hanging out in when it's raining makes camping here a great experience. Will definitely be back.

We stayed for 4 days in August, camping in our tents. We've done quite a bit of camping and this is definitely an excellent campsite: small but great attention to detail. The bathrooms were nicer than any I've seen in a campsite - hotel quality and kept spotless. The view across to the hills was fabulous. Although we had our own cooking equipment, it was v handy to have the Bothy: a well-stocked kitchen/dining room with fridge and freezer, plugs for charging phones.
