Persie Gin

With 70% of gin consumed in the UK made in Scotland, gin is hot on the heels of whisky to become the new national spirit! And the award-winning Persie Distillery is well worth a visit.

It is a small, family-owned steading-turned-distillery in the former Persie Hotel on the A93, just north of Bridge of Cally.

Three aromatic styles of gin are hand-crafted in small batches, then distilled, bottled and labelled on site. There's Zesty Citrus; Herby & Aromatic; and Sweet & Nutty Old Tom - all designed to tap into your sense of smell.

So come and meet the family, see a small craft distillery in action and enjoy free samples of each of the gins on arrival.

Opening hours: Saturday to Thursday 12 noon to 6pm.
Closed Fridays for private tastings and tours.

Beautiful surroundings, and views. We stayed in the Blackberry Hut with our dog and the accommodation was roomy, comfortable and well equipped. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate (and warm!). The Bothy had everything you need to cook, and was also very clean and well stocked. Dog friendly, plenty of walks and lots of wildlife around too. We will definitely be returning!
