Natural Play Space 2022

Discover The New Children's Natural Play Space

Childrens Natural Play Space

We are delighted to announce our natural play space is complete and open for young memories to be made!.... Let your little one's imagination run wild in the safety of our natural play space. Sneak along the snakes back, a creative game of hide and seek with combine harvester tyres to climb over and under. Get down and dirty building dens and creating highways with diggers and trucks. With endless fun and exploring to be had.

As a young family ourselves, The natural play space was an important addition to the facilities we have at Glenshee Glamping, Family is the heart of our business and so we very much wanted to create a safe environment for Children, siblings and friends to play and be creative in their own way whilst encouraging them to be amongst nature.

A lot of hard work went into creating the carved wooden snakes head amd situating harvester tyres, so we hope you and your family have as much fun sharing giggles and making memories, as much as we did, creating it.

Wellbeing and wildlife pond

We hope that with a pond being situated in the meadow, it will attract all sorts of bugs and insects for us to find, it will also provide a home to geese and ducks that we hope to have here soon! We'll keep you posted!

It is extremely important to us a Glenshee Glamping that children that visit have the opportunity to roam and explore the environment around them we will be aiming to provide a natural play area for children, which we will be developing over the course of the year. This by no means detracts from what is already around us at Glenshee Glamping for children all year round. In winter all you need is warm waterproof clothing, a sledge if it snows and thats it!

The rest of the year there is so much wild life to see, from red squirrels nesting next to our bothy to the birds of prey that fly above the camp.

Beautiful surroundings, and views. We stayed in the Blackberry Hut with our dog and the accommodation was roomy, comfortable and well equipped. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate (and warm!). The Bothy had everything you need to cook, and was also very clean and well stocked. Dog friendly, plenty of walks and lots of wildlife around too. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed for 4 days in August, camping in our tents. We've done quite a bit of camping and this is definitely an excellent campsite: small but great attention to detail. The bathrooms were nicer than any I've seen in a campsite - hotel quality and kept spotless. The view across to the hills was fabulous. Although we had our own cooking equipment, it was v handy to have the Bothy: a well-stocked kitchen/dining room with fridge and freezer, plugs for charging phones.
