With Both Adult and Children Archery sessions, its the perfect Activity for the whole family
Here at Glenshee Glamping we believe a holiday in Perthshire should be full of fun activities, adventure and most importantly, laughter! And if that comes with a little competitiveness, a new skill and some overly tired kiddies, well then to us, its a successful Family Fun Holiday! Our new Instructor-led Archery sessions are not just aimed for youngster's but for Adults too, Staying at Glenshee Glamping means holiday activities for the whole family.
Have you or your kids ever dreamed of being Robin Hood, lets see how sharp your eye is! Sharpen your skills, develop your focus and concentration, and bring out the medieval archer in you! Our Archery GB Qualified Instructor led sessions, will help you learn Archery, you’ll be hitting the bullseye in no time!
An introduction to Archery as a sport, learning about the bow & arrows in a safe environment with a qualified instructor. Your little one's will learn how to hold the bow and line up the sucker arrows.
limited to 6 spaces per session. Please note that high quality sucker arrows are used in these sessions.
Junior's ages 5 -10
Duration: 30 minutes
Once you have the basics down and comfortable with setting up your bow and releasing arrows, its time to focus the steady hand and aim for the target! You will learn about posture, develop your hand / eye co-ordination and how to maximise your release for a smooth hit.
Target archery is limited to 6 spaces per session.
Target Archery (mixed groups, age 8+)
Duration: 50 minutes
Once you have the basics down and comfortable with setting up your bow and releasing arrows, its time to focus the steady hand and aim for the target! You will learn about posture, develop your hand / eye co-ordination and how to maximise your release for a smooth hit.
Target archery is limited to 6 spaces per session.
Target Archery (mixed groups: Juniors 8+, Adults 16 & Over)
Duration: 50 minutes

Archery sessions can be added as an extra when making your booking. Simply select from Junior archery, Adult archery or Target archery (mixed groups – min age 8) and in the notes please advise the date / time slot required. A session is not confirmed as booked until we have confirmed availability via email or phone.

Absolutely first class. From website details, booking and staying. Excellent location for us skiing. Pods are beautiful and cosy. Wood fired hot tub and fire pit is an absolute must, especially after a days skiing. Finally, The Bothy was an added bonus that we didn’t think we would need. But was fully kitted out with everything possible and loved the communal feel. Can’t recommend enough. Well done Helena and Nathan, you’ll definitely be seeing us again! Xx
